Our Beginning

Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust (KORT) was established in response to the devastating earthquake of October 8, 2005. The tragedy left thousands of children orphaned across Azad Kashmir and surrounding regions. What began as emergency relief soon transformed into a long-term commitment to structured orphan care.

From those early days of crisis response, KORT developed organized, sustainable systems to provide orphaned children with safe housing, education, healthcare access, and emotional support within a nurturing environment.

Our Mission

KORT’s mission is to provide comprehensive care, education, and empowerment to orphaned and vulnerable children. We aim to break cycles of poverty by delivering structured programs that build character, opportunity, and long-term stability.

Every child deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope for a brighter future.

Our Work

KORT operates purpose-built orphan care facilities where children receive accommodation, meals, schooling, and healthcare support. Beyond orphan sponsorship, KORT engages in widow assistance, disaster response, community uplift initiatives, and healthcare support programs.

Through donor partnerships and transparent systems, we continue expanding programs that uplift entire communities — not just individuals.

Our Vision

Our vision is a world where no orphan is left behind. We strive to create structured, transparent, and sustainable systems ensuring every donation translates into measurable impact.
